Important Care Tips

Please note our instructions for caring for human hair products so that you can enjoy your hair extensions for a long time.

Human hair extensions are more sensitive than your own hair due to chemical pre-treatment such as cleaning and dyeing. Natural re-oiling does not occur. Therefore, with improper treatment, they can easily dry out or tangle. To prevent this, we ask you to pay attention to the following:

• Only use mild shampoo or care products specially designed for human hair extensions (alcohol and silicone-free) for washing.
• Human hair extensions should not come into contact with chlorinated or salty water.
• Use shampoo as usual. Wash extensions only with lukewarm water and rinse the shampoo thoroughly.
• To prevent the hair from drying out, we recommend treating it with hair treatment, hair oil, or balm. Please rinse these care products carefully.
• After washing, gently pat the hair dry with a towel; do not rub or wring. When the hair is still slightly damp, you can apply a conditioner suitable for staying in the hair (observe product instructions).
• Conditioner should generally only be applied to the hair lengths and ends. Otherwise, the plastic granule bonds may slip.
• Do not wash your hair upside down to avoid tangling.
• Please do not go to sleep with wet hair.
• Carefully comb damp hair and let it air dry or dry with a hairdryer at a low temperature. The hair should always be blow-dried in the direction of growth.
• We recommend braiding your hair into a plait at night.
• A normal hairbrush can damage extensions. Please only use a special hairbrush for hair extensions or a wide-toothed comb.
• Have a trim every 6-8 weeks.
• In principle, you can also straighten or re-dye the hair. We strongly advise against chemical lightening. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the extensions will tolerate such treatment, as, as already mentioned, the hair is somewhat more sensitive due to the cleaning and dyeing processes.
